Mr. Jack Accardi Jr., President and CEO of The Accardi Companies, has been actively involved in the shaping of the gas services and combustion industries for over 30 years. During this time he has influenced and authored a number of industry and utility company codes and standards for the utilization of gas boosters in fuel fired combustion for HVAC, industrial process and power generation applications.

He has trained hundreds of professional engineers, designers and service technicians in the proper design, application and service of both natural and manufactured gas products. Additionally, he has worked with the training of many other professional engineering societies such as ASHRAE, ASPE/ASSE, NAPE and The Northeast Gas Association. Mr. Accardi is also a certified instructor in the Practicing Institute of Engineering (PIE) professional education program presenting "Theory and Application of Hermetically Sealed Gas Boosters and High Efficiency Boilers and Control Systems".

In addition to providing training and instruction for the engineering community, Mr. Accardi has consulted on the utility level with both National Grid and Con Edison and in the local municipal segments for New York City agencies such as the Department of Buildings, Housing Authority, Transit Authority and School Construction Authority.

Mr. Accardi has been actively involved in the design of some of the most highly recognizable residential and commercial building projects in New York City. He also has the prestigious honor of being selected by the Office of the Mayor of New York City to participate on the design staff for the construction of the World Trade Center Memorial Eternal Flame in 2002.
